With our very survival at stake, we must call on our better selves, assume good intention on the part of our fellow activists and businesspeople, reach across whatever divides us, and come together now.

ANN ARBOR, Mich.—
Thousands of people crowded the University of Michigan’s Ann Arbor campus to celebrate marijuana and argue for its legalization.
The Detroit Free Press reports about 6,000 people attended the 40th annual Hash Bash on Saturday. The annual protest is aimed at legalizing marijuana.
Former New Mexico Governor and current Republican presidential hopeful Gary Johnson said
“We need to legalize marijuana,” Johnson told the enthusiastic crowd. “46 percent of Americans support the legalization of marijuana, and 30 million Americans are touched by the marijuana drug laws. Most of the people in jail connected to marijuana participated in non-violent, victimless crimes.” I agree. Do you?

Abandoning the “pay what you want” pricing model that grabbed headlines in 2007, Radiohead is releasing its next record in multiple formats, including what the band calls “the world’s first newspaper album.”
The King of Limbs, the English group’s eighth studio album, will be available for download Saturday.
Presale has already begun on the Radiohead website. The album will come in two digital formats, either 320 KBps MP3s ($9) or CD-quality, uncompressed WAV files ($14).
The newspaper album will cost $48 with MP3s or $53 with WAVs. The elaborate physical packaging (details below) won’t ship till May 9, but anybody who buys the newspaper album can download the music files Saturday. One downloader will receive a two-track 12-inch vinyl record signed by band members. Source.
